Heirloom Living: what to do with the kids in February

Sometimes it's nice to have a little inspiration for activities and ideas that help us slow down and enjoy the moment with our kids.  Not a to-do list, or even a bucket list.  Just a reference to remind us of some of the joys that come along with each passing month.

We're so pleased to be starting a new feature here on the blog that we think you will love.  We're calling it Heirloom Living and it's a printable inspirational guide with ideas to draw from all month long.  On it you'll find activities for inside the home and out in nature, music suggestions, foods to enjoy, and, of course, books and stories to read.  It's not in a list format, so there's no pressure to get things done.  Just pick and choose as you like.

It's pretty so you'll enjoy hanging it up looking at it every day.  Make a record of the memories you've made by highlighting or circling items as you complete them.  At the end of the month, you can store the sheet away and have a memento of the things you did together.

Choose your favorite palette - black or earth tones - and download a copy by clicking on the image you like best below.  Will you use the tag #heirloomliving to show us how you and your family are enjoying time together?  We can't wait to share in the memories you'll make.
